Cheat codes HTML5 player | URL parameters

In this forum we have already explained some of the options you can add to the URL of the HTML5 player. Hereafter you will find more options for you to use.

Attention:

  • These options can change in the future
  • They won't work when playing local files. Only if the player is placed on a webserver
  • Older versions of the player will not support all features.

How to use:

You can add these codes at the end of the url e.g.

https://demo.presentations2go.eu/P2G/Player/Player.aspx?id=eNzY9U&automaticresize=true

You can use multiple options at the same time e.g.

https://demo.presentations2go.eu/P2G/Player/Player.aspx?id=eNzY9U&automaticresize=false&layout=2

Options:

&layout=

Force a layout scenario at startup

1; left video right slide (default)

2; right video left slide

3; full size slide, small boxed video

4; full size video, smal boxed slide

5; equal hight

6; video only

7: slide only

8: 360 video mode (only in release 5+)

 &autoplay=

true; start playing automatically (default)

false; display a startbutton. Press playbutton to start the recording

&automaticResize=

true; automatic scale the video and slides when 30 seconds no new slides are presented.

false; when disabled, the video can be resized by hand by dragging the lower right corner.

&time=

time in seconds.

&segments=

Multiple segments/snippets are played. e.g. &segments=00:01:20-00:01:30|00:06:20-00:07:30

&BackgroundImageUrl=

You can overrule the background of an individual recording by adding the following string behind the URL for example:

https://demo.presentations2go.eu/P2G/Player/Player.aspx?id=eNzY9U&BackgroundImageUrl=http://www.bairdtv.com/images/logos/Pepsi80s.png

However:

  • The image will not be stretched

 &bigPlayButtonUrl=

url to an alternative playbutton.

&logoUrl=

url to an alternative logo which replaces the Presentations2go logo in the lower left corner. Only works if the host of the image has a clientaccesspolicy.xml in the rootweb.

&splashScreenUrl=

url to an alternative splashscreen which replaces the Presentations2gO logo at startup. Only works if the host of the image has a a clientaccesspolicy.xml  in the rootweb. This feature does not always work in all browsers and on slow connections.

 &background=

This changes the background color in the player. Usage e.g. &background=00FF00, the hexadecimal color code without the preceding #

 https://demo.presentations2go.eu/P2G/Player/Player.aspx?id=eNzY9U&background=AA0000

&accentcolor=

This changes the accent color in the player. Usage e.g. &accentcolor=FF0000, the hexadecimal color code without the preceding #

&inverted=true

This mode loads an inverted style with white background and inverted icons.

&showminimalbuttons=

True or false, default set to false. An embedded player has often limited width available. This will hide several less used buttons. The buttons will return when you go to full screen.

&simple=

True or false, default set to false. This eliminates almost all features and is ideal for embedding video only. Do not combine with showminimalbuttons.
