Audio not in sync with video

Audio and video are encoded through different paths. Since audio is easier to encode we see often lip-sync issues. In almost all cases the audio is ahead of the video. You can configure an audio delay which will be effective immediately.

Versions 3.0 and 3.1

- Go to Advanced mode
- Select General menu
- Click on Settings
- Change Audio delay
- When audio is before the video, use a positive sample value. A sample is ~40 ms (based on a video framerate of 25 fps)

Version 3.5
With the introduction of IP cameras in version 3.5,  the audio delay was moved from general settings to the individual video sources. Since IP cameras introduce an additional delay, which various IP cameras can have different

- Go to Advanced mode
- Select the sources menu
- Click on each of the video sources
- Change audio delay; When audio is before the video, use a positive sample value. A sample is ~40 ms (based on a video framerate of 25 fps)

In addition to the audio delay, version 3.5 also comes with a slide delay, especially for use with IP cameras.
